  • Where do the leather remnants come from?
The leather remnants we use are 100% made in Italy and come from tanneries, fashion houses and leather goods factories. Our patches have a smaller surface than most leather products, which means we can use small pieces of leather remnants to give remnants a sustainable life and create an amazing and unique look at the same time. For more information about our leather patches please go to our from trash to treasure page
  • How are the patches made?
All of our patches are handcrafted in our workplace in the Netherlands to guarantee the handmade quality our customers may expect from us. The quantity of patches in a certain color, print or finish depends on the size of the remnant our patches are made out of. This makes our selections of patches is constantly changing, so our customers can be sure they always have their own unique patch. To give our patches their look and feel, we use cork in-between the leather remnants. Cork gives our patches the padding they need to look as wonderful as they do. Cork is a natural product, that comes from the bark of the cork oak. Because we solely use the bark, no trees have to be cut down to produce cork for our patches. Cork has wonderful sustainable characteristics that suit our values like a glove.
